I have really liked the classifieds on KSL. We have bought and sold things on KSL. We purchased an inversion table and a Bose surrond sound system. The latest item we sold was Kurt's caddilac. I was REALLY HAPPY to see it go! He put the add on about 9:00 at night and we had the money in hand by 11:00 the next morning! It was great!! Saturday, February 20, 2010

Den Leader
Kurt has been called as the Bear leader. So for one of the activities he had the boys make their own cakes to celebrate the 100 years of scouting. The made the cakes one week and then we froze them and they decorated them the next. A good time was had by all!

I Heart Waffles
We got a heart shaped waffle iron for our wedding. It was one of those items that was put into storage until we got a bigger home. Well, now we have our bigger home so it was time to break out the waffle maker! Kurt and I were making them together, as we were making them he said, this can be a blog entry, I agreed so here it is! Kurt had fun arranging the items for pictures. The waffles turned out
scrumptious!

Making Love During the Superbowl?!
Kim had the Super Bowl Sunday party at her house this year. It has been a tradition we all get together on Superbowl Sunday and have soup in a bowl and watch the game or maybe just the commercials. I was cheering for the Saints this year so I was enjoying the game, but I also like to watch the commercials. Kim, knowing that all of the girls could use a little diversion from the game had a craft for us to make. It was GREAT!!! We mod podged the letters L O V E on wooden blocks. Kim had the blocks all painted and sanded. While we were working on it Teresa said to Lance, "Lance we are making love over here." Lance came over, smiled and gave Teresa a kiss. I asked Kim to please have the party at her house next year too! We had a great time! Thanks Kim! I am looking forward to next years craft!

18 months and Going to Nusery
Today was AJ's official first day of nursery. One Sunday he was sick and the other we had family in town and didn't stay for all three meetings. When I went to drop him off, he saw the balls in the closet and that's all it took! He was off to play with the balls!
Speaking of balls... today was a missionary farewell and it was PACKED! We ended up sitting in the gym. Not a great choice considering AJ knows what a basketball hoop is and how it should be used. He constantly yelled out, "Mom ball!" and pointed up to the hoop. It was torture for the poor kid!
When I went to pick him up I was told he did great for his first day. I now understand the angst mothers feel when they drop off their child on their first day of kindergarten! We sure love our boy! I can't believe he is already in nusery!

Saved $214.09
I Love Deals to Meals! I know I have mentioned this site before, but I LOVE it! I love knowing I am getting great deals! It is SO worth the 5bucks a month! AJ eats oatmeal for breakfast every morning, he loves the stuff. He will eat 2 packages at one sitting. Harmon's has Quaker oatmeal on sale for 5 for $8, not bad, but they also have an in store coupon for $3.00 off of any 5 Quaker products so that makes them $1.00 a box! YEAH! We stocked up! I also went through our food storage and we purchased items that are red (really good deals) to top off our shelves. Altogether we spent $143.08, saved $178.09 on "great price savings" and $36.00 using coupons for a grand total of $214.09! It is fun when you can go to the store and do that!
