New Truck?

My father purchased a new truck on Friday.  After buying it he drove his old car home and the salesman followed him in the new truck.  They dropped off the car, Dad got in the drivers seat of the new truck and off they went to bring the salesman back to work.  Dad was in the middle lane driving down the freeway.  At the 21st street on ramp a woman came onto the freeway and did not see Dad and was coming over into the center lane almost to sideswipe him, tyring to avoid this woman he went over to the fast lane where his back end clipped another car that was coming up behind him.  This sent Dad flying into the cement barrier on the freeway.  He spun around several times, his the barrier several times and ended up facing northbound (the opposite direction) on the freeway!  We feel VERY blessed the truck is most likely totalled, but Dad is not!  He has one broken rib and is quite sore, but other than that is doing very well. The woman who almost hit Dad got the ticket so her insurance should cover everything.  Dad was joking in the emergency room that he figures the truck cost a little over $2,000 a mile.  Mom said, "Well as long as you enjoyed the ride." I'm glad my parents have a sense of humor about it all!
