I am on the Advisory Board for the Department of Child and Family Studies at Weber State University. As one who is on the Board, I was quite involved in the Famlies Alive Conference recently hosted at WSU. I was able to attend as a community member, participant, moderator, facilitator and board member. As board member I got a few perks; one of those was to attend a private dinner with Jim Fay before his opening keynote address. There were about 25 people at the dinner. It was great to be able to meet Jim and hear how Love and Logic came into existence. He is as personable and charming as I thought he would be, it was a very enjoyable evening.
